Geet Handa is a youthful girl from the small city of Hoshiyarpur. She's a simple girl who trusts her family fully. When she becomes 18, her family decide to get her wedded. They choose Dev Singh Khurrana, a handsome and rich NRI, to be her hubby. Dev promises to take Geet to Canada after marriage and in return Geet has to subscribe over her part of the family property over to him.
Her family agree and Geet is married to Dev. Dev and Geet were listed to leave for Canada a day after their marriage. Dev and Geet spend their first night together. Geet trusts in Dev and hopes that their marriage will bring her all the happiness that she deserves.
The coming morning when Geet and Dev leave for the field, the unbelievable happens. Dev leaves Geet in the field and leaves for Canada without her. She returns home with the bad news. It also sluggishly revealed that Dev married Geet for the sole purpose of getting a hold of her portion of the family property.
It's also revealed that Dev is married. When her family finds out about the verity, they force Geet to forget about Dev and pretend as if he noway entered her life. But as fate would have it, Geet becomes pregnant by Dev as result of their first night together.
When her family becomes apprehensive of the gestation, they instruct her to have an revocation but Geet refuses. She refuses to discipline her child for the miscalculations of his father. She stands up to her family. That's when the unbelievable happens.
Her bother decides to kill her to save his family’s honor. I was veritably impressed that Star One was suitable to have a show on that talked about honor payoff. Innumerous of girls and boys have been victims of this cruel tradition. In Geet’s case, she's saved by Maan.
Unknown to Geet, Maan is Dev’s aged family. He's the head of Khurrana Constructions, a huge constructions company grounded in Delhi. Geet makes her way to Delhi and it just so happens that she applies for the position of a clerk of the head of the Khurrana Constructions. When they meet in Maan’s office, at first both are shocked to see one another again.
Also begins a tale of fights, misconstructions and eventually love. Maan is apprehensive that Geet’s family planned to kill her. He does n’t find out about the exact circumstances until latterly. He's also originally ignorant of Geet’s gestation. But after he finds out, he supports her decision and vows to cover her and her child. In the videotape below, Maan vows to always cover Geet and be by her side no matter what happens.
Maan and Geet have a tumultuous relationship from the morning. They first meet when Geet is running down from some goons. From also on, whenever Geet is in trouble, Maan is always around to help. After she joins his company, he constantly tests her capacities. She's assigned colorful tasks and always manages to surpass Maan’s prospects. Sluggishly purely surely she begins to make a place for herself in Maan’s heart. Her simplicity and her innocence palm Maan over.
When we first meet Maan, he's portrayed as a strict disciplinarian. He doesn't tolerate miscalculations. He doesn't like to be kept staying. He knows his worth and he knows how to use his influence to get his work done. After he meets Geet, he begins to change. He becomes further considerate. He begins to understand the requirements of his staff more. He indeed beings to smile and becomes jocund with the people around him. At first he'd be bothered by the fact that he just could n’t get Geet out his mind but latterly he realized that the uneasiness he felt was in fact his love for her.
Maan and Geet partake several romantic moments together but I've included the videotape below. First out I love the song and secondly I love the way it has been mugged on Maan and Geet. There's so important passion and love each without looking or feeling cheap. Also this happens right before Geet confesses to Maan about her gestation.
Maan is suitable to get over the treason he felt when Geet eventually tells him what happed to her. She reveals to him her marriage to Dev and his plot to steal her portion of her family’s estate. All this while Maan in ignorant that Geet was wronged by his own family. Maan promises Geet that he'll retaliate her. They eventually get wedded but not before Geet finds out that Dev is Maan’s youngish family. After their marriage, numerous twists and turns take place. One of the biggest twists is that Geet ends up losing the baby whose life she fought so hard to save.
Geet is an pleasurable show about the courage of one girl to live life on her own terms and the consequences that she has to face for the opinions she makes. The final scene was a touching scene where Maan and Geet eventually have a baby of their own …
